Would you enjoy seeing handicapped people perform a dance on stage?

Tuesday, July 26th, 2011

Someone told me about a group of wheel-chair-bound people who perform specially arranged dances in churches, hospitals and other locations. I’ve never heard of such performances before. It strikes me as unusual that a handicapped person would want to perform a dance on stage for an audience. But, on the other hand, why not? Handicapped people are allowed and encouraged to take part in all kinds of activities, including sports, right? So what do you think?

Are there grant monies to purchase a handicapped van for my son?

Wednesday, July 28th, 2010

Hello, my son has Spastic Quadlapledic Cerebral Palsy and we are in desperate need for a handicapped van. I’ve done a lot of research and the Dodge Sprinter is the most adaptive for our needs now and later. My son is four and is bound to a wheel chair and also has other equipment for his physical therapy. I don’t make much that much money and we are hoping to get this need met, we live in NC. Thanks.
