My friend lives in an apartment building that doesn’t have handicapped access. Do they have to have it?
Tuesday, June 21st, 2011It appears the building is more than twenty years old, and it’s a 3 story apartment building in Los Angeles, CA. There are stairs but no elevator. A wheel-chair confined person could not live on the 3rd floor. What would happen if a handicapped person wanted to live on the 3rd floor? Would they sue? Curious.
